It is our goal here at Access Partners to help get the gospel to those who have never heard it. Like the apostle Paul, we make it our “ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else’s foundation, but as it is written, ‘Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand (Romans 15:20-21).’” This is why we focus on the parts of the world least reached with the gospel. Most of these places can be found in an area known as the 10/40 Window.

The 10/40 Window is the area in the world between 10 and 40 degrees latitude north of the equator and extending from West Africa to East Asia. This area contains the largest number of non-Christians in the world. The 31 least reached countries in the world are in this “window.” More than 3.2 billion people, comprising over 5,000 thousand unreached people groups (UPG) and about two-thirds of the world’s population, live there. About 95% of that population is unevangelized. These UPGs often have no access to the gospel at all, and even fewer than 2% of their populations are evangelical Christians which means that this area has the greatest need for church planting in the world.
